On July 1st 2006, the
Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) takes
effect in the European Union. This directive restricts the
use of the following hazardous materials in the manufacturing of
electronic equipment:
- Lead
- Mercury
- Cadmium
- Hexavalent Chromium
- PBB
- PBDE
AudioScience is committed to
providing our products in a RoHS compliant form. We are
actively engaged in revising our designs to use RoHS
compliant components and RoHS compliant assembly processes.
